N02201 Nickel (Alloy 201) (d) 2.4068 NA12 B 162 As above but with reduced C content to avoid embrittlement at high temperatures. Heat exchangers, electrical and chemical industries.
N04400 Monel 400 (d) 2.436 NA13 B 164 High strength with good formability. Good corrosion resistance, particularly in sea water. Braiding, components for marine engineering and chemical industry.
N05500 Monel K500 (d) 2.4375 NA18 Has the corrosion resistance of Monel 400, but can be precipitation hardened to provide increased strength. Marine engineering applications such as pump shafts, fasteners.
